Eleaf’s iStick was one of the first great single-battery mods. It was small, versatile and reliable and all the products in the iStick have followed the same basic formula. 

A few generations along the line, the iStick Pico S also stays true to these values, giving you great tasting vapor with a little extra va-va-voom. 

One thing you could say about the original iStick is that it wasn’t very good looking. Like a lot of vapes back in the day, the styling was a little clunky and monotone. Not so with the Pico S.

The S actually stands for sport, and Eleaf designers say that they were inspired by looking at some of the world’s favorite supercars. It’s easy to see why. 

With straight lines, cutting angles and shiny textured finish, you can almost imagine the Pico S rounding the bend at one of Europes famous Grand Prix circuits and shooting a stream of dense vapor as it takes the chequered flag.

It can generate an impressive 100W of power from a single 21700 cell, which you remove by unscrewing the battery compartment. You can also charge the mod up or upgrade its firmware with a USB cable.

The 21700 battery gives this mod enough battery so that you can vape comfortably all day. But it is also triple battery compatible, so if you don’t have a 21700 cell, you can use a 20700 battery or a trusty 18650 with a special battery adapter.

It has a variable wattage (VW) mode and a temperature control (TC) mode and can read resistances down to 0.05 ohms in each, for big cloud vaping. 

You can monitor your vape output on the clear OLED display and customize your settings with a straightforward menu system. 

The mod comes with a 6.5ml bubble glass Ello Vate tank. It’s easy to refill and has great airflow through the wide 810 drip tip. 

The best thing about the tank, though, is the coils. The kit comes with two coils, one 0.15 ohm mesh coil head and an innovative 0.2 ohm net coil head.

All manufacturers are making the switch to mesh and net coils that give more surface area for heating, but the Ello Vate coils are some of the best we have tested, giving a dense and saturated flavor with every puff.
